Take a guided tour of the Daweswood House Museum, once the country home of Arboretum co-founders Beman and Bertie Dawes. See and hear the history behind antiques and memorabilia from the Dawes family. A house highlight is the “Rathskeller,” a basement area that displays shovels used by over 100 notable men and women who dedicated trees at The Arboretum and features their signatures on the ceiling.
Daweswood House Museum tours are included with the admission fee. Check in at the Visitors Center to ensure tour availability. Photography is not permitted inside Daweswood House Museum.
