From November until late March you can find a witch-hazel flowering! Join our Director of Living Collections as he shows off our Nationally Accredited Witch-hazel collection. Fall to winter is the bloom period of the common witch-hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) with the other types flowering from late winter until spring. We will discuss other witch-hazel species as well as its uses, lore and legend.

Gather at the green tent in the Witch-hazel Collection, just east of our main parking lot for a tour of this lovely and interesting plant.
